The Green Man and Still

The Green Man and Still was a tavern in Oxford Street, London, much favoured during the 18th & 19th centuries by cricketers - such as William Beldham, Tom Walker and David Harris - playing at Thomas Lord's grounds nearby, and not surprisingly, also patronised by the leading bookmakers of the day. Leake Street, also known as the "Banksy tunnel", is a road in Lambeth, London. It is about 300 metres long, runs off York Road and under the platforms and tracks of Waterloo station.
